Welcome to the University of London Festival of Greek Drama 2009

This is the 22nd anniversary of this festival which every year brings together students from all over London to present a wide-range of activities that seek to revive and show their appreciation for the art and performance of ancient Greek drama.

This year as usual will include contributions from King's College London, University College London, and Royal Holloway. All of these universities are endevouring to produce a performance of one of the plays from Ancient Greek drama with a unique and enigmatic technique. These are supplemented by workshops and lectures, which all seek to allow the general public to understand and truly appreciate the art of the literature and technique of the original performances.
